HARRISMITH – Motorists are still stuck on the  N3 route between KwaZulu-Natal and the Free State, with heavy snowfall making travel impossible.

Some people have been stuck on the roads for 24 hours, in the cold and without food or water.
Aid organisation, Gift of the Givers is assisting with relief efforts for stranded travellers.
